<p><strong>Our Dynamic Universe</strong></p>
<p>1.  A projectile is launched at a velocity of 12m/s at an angle of 30 deg to the horizontal.  Calculate the horizontal and vertical components of velocity, the time of flight and the horizontal distance covered.</p>
<p>2.  A stationary 3 Kg mass experiences a force of 500N for 8 milliseconds.  Calculate the speed of the weight after the force has been applied.</p>
<p>3.  An object of mass 400Kg sits on a slope of 20 deg to the horizontal.  The object slides down the slope accelerating at 2.5 m/s2.  Calculate the frictional force acting on the object moving down the slope.</p>

<p>7.  A siren on top of an emergency vehicle travelling at 40 m/s produces a tone of 400Hz.  Calculate the frequency heard by a stationary pedestrian at the side of the road.</p>
<p>8.  Write down the formula describing the law of gravitation.</p>
<p>9.  Write a short note on the &#8216;Hubble Constant&#8217;.</p>
